Unsere 1. Liga startete mit vielen neuen Spielerinnen und Spielern in die neue Saison. Das Team war gespickt mit Aufsteigern aus der 2. Liga und erfahrenen 1. Ligaspielerinnen und -spielern. Bedauerlicherweise hatten wir die ganze Saison über mit einigen verletzungsbedingten ausfällen zu kämpfen, mit Melania und Nicolas fehlten zwei Stammspieler:innen für die ganze Saison bzw. einen ermesslichen Teil der Saison. Leider verlief der Start in die Saison etwas durchzogen, mit vier Niederlagen zu starten war gewiss nicht unser Ziel. Trotzdem machten die ersten Spiele Lust auf mehr, da in vielen Spielen nicht viel fehlte für den Sieg. Danach konnten wir uns auch Resultattechnisch fangen und holten zum Hinrundenabschluss drei Siege in Folge. In der Rückrunde mussten wir uns nur noch drei Mal geschlagen geben, wobei wir in allen drei Begegnungen die Chance hatten zu gewinnen. Durch die Verletzung von Nicolas bekam Shreyas die Chance einiges an Erfahrung in der 1. Liga sammeln. Wir freuen uns Uni Basel 3 Bald in der 1. Liga begrüssen zu dürfen und freuen uns jetzt schon auf die nächste Saison.
Our 1st league started the new season with many new players. The team was peppered with players promoted from the 2nd league and experienced 1st league players. Unfortunately, we had to deal with several injuries during the whole season, with Melania and Nicolas two regular players were missing for the whole season or a measurable part of the season. Unfortunately, the start of the season was a little bit mixed, to start with four defeats was certainly not our goal. Nevertheless, the first games made us want more, because in many games not much was missing for the victory. After that, we were able to catch up in terms of results and won three matches in a row to finish the first half of the season.In the second round we only had to admit defeat three times, whereby we had the chance to win in all three matches. Due to the injury of Nicolas, Shreyas got the chance to gain some experience in the 1st league. We are happy to welcome Uni Basel 3 soon in the 1st league and are already looking forward to the next season.
